SUSTAINABILITY
OUR VALUES EMBODIED IN THE WORKING SPACE
Supporting our workers, safeguarding the future, and investing in sustainable technology: these are Everyn environmentally friendly goals. This path started in 2020 and was created and developed by architects Davide Dell’Acqua and Paolo Forgione.
In order to make working spaces functional to our goals, the new building is designed bearing in mind workers’ comfort.
Large, bright, and airy spaces.
Order, comfort, and functionality.
BEING CONSCIOUS OF OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
So as to minimise the negative environmental impact and become a sustainable benchmark in the women’s luxury footwear industry, Everyn made environmentally friendly
choices:
PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATIONS
Self-production of electric energy (around 45% of the total needs) thanks to photovoltaic panels on the roof (100% of the area used).
WATER-REGULATING MEASURES
Rainwater systems composed of underground tanks and a dedicated rainwater pumping
station for:
- Green space maintenance
- Fire-fighting system
NATURAL LIGHTING AND VENTILATION
The building makes extensive use of natural lighting and ventilation thanks to glazing, opening sheds and windows that are strategically distributed in the building, exceeding legal requirements.
ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING
Production area, office wing and services are artificially lit by energy-efficient LED lights.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Electric and hybrid car charging stations were installed.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MATERIALS
The materials used in the new building include recycled aluminium, perfectly compatible with the water storage system, glass, and other non-polluting components.
GREEN GOALS
GREEN SPACE
One of Everyn’s future projects is to plant a garden next to the entrance to make the area more pleasant.
COOLING SYSTEM
Our water-cooling system in the production/pasting conveyor area is highly energy efficient and maintains a comfortable temperature for workers.
